HISTORY

Our story began with a card game in Texas: Charles Feldstein won a piece of land that was located in Marinette, WI. He made the trip on the wagon route many times to Chicago to sell or trade his goods. When Charles finally went to see what he had won, he saw a great opportunity in the booming logging town. Charles opened the original Feldstein’s that was known as “Loan Brokers and Jewelers.” The store sold musical instruments, golf clubs, luggage, clocks, and jewelry.

Charles’ son Sam, who was one of four boys in the family, worked long hours seven days a week to keep the business going. Sam graduated high school at the age of 16 and went on to watch making school. He then returned to run the store.

For repairs: Our warranty covers 1 year from the time the customer picks up their serviced piece of jewelry which includes:

1) We cover the work we did

2) We tighten all the gems

3) Diamond/Gem replacement- if a smaller (under 0.15ct) diamond or gem were to fall out within 1 year of service, stop back in and we'll replace it

4) Sizings- if the ring needs to be resized again with in the same year.

Refund policy

Instore purchases: Merchandise in new condition and never worn may be returned for a full refund within 30 days from the date of purchase if accompanied by a valid sales receipt and original box. Merchandise may also be exchanged for store credit within 90 days from the purchase date if accompanied by a valid sales receipt and in new condition. However, this policy is subject to the following conditions, clarifications, exceptions & fees: Anything passed 90 days from the purchase date falls into our trade in or gold buy policy.

Special ordered or custom made items, and resized or engraved items may not be returned.

Online Purchases: are accepted for credit or exchange only in the U.S. if returned in brand new never worn condition within 10 days after delivery date, accompanied by the original sales invoice, diamond/jewelry certificate, all complementary/gift items, all original packaging and collateral material. Gift recipients are entitled to a nonrefundable merchandise credit.

Once we receive your returned item and it is accepted, your refund or exchange will be processed in just a few days. Upon receiving your return, the item and collateral material will be reviewed by our Quality Assurance Department. Please note that items showing signs of wear or those that have been altered, resized or damaged in any way cannot be accepted for return. We will credit your original method of payment excluding shipping charges within 3 weeks of receiving your return.
Please make sure to securely package and fully insure any returns along with original sales invoice and packaging materials. Return packages that are improperly packaged or uninsured will not be accepted. We are not responsible for loss or damage of return shipments in Transit. Please make sure to include your Reason for Return.

There is always a goldsmith available to answer any questions or concerns you may have. We have always had the latest technology which includes a high performance laser welder which allows the goldsmiths to complete the most difficult repairs. Often times doing repairs for other jewelers that don't have access to a laser. With our experience and cutting edge technology you can have peace of mind that all of your repairs are in the best care.
